As usual, the 11am service will be preceded by our regular Sunday Conversation at 10am, and refreshments afterwards.

Reminder: the second annual Walnut Hill Pancake Ride, will take place this Saturday.

organizational meeting TODAY at noon at the church.

Help Needed - Pancake Bike Ride

This Saturday our church will host its annual Pancake Bicycle Ride. The event will begin at 9:00 am with pancakes, bacon, juice and fruit being served in the fellowship hall. There will three bike rides - 15, 25 and 50 miles - and they will leave the church at 10 am.

Last year we had approximately 75 bikers attend the event. Since it was so well received by the cyclists we expect even more to attend this year. And to ensure a successful event this year we need lots of volunteers. There will be an organizational meeting Friday at noon in the fellowship hall during which we'll set up tables and chairs and discuss the arrangements. If you want to volunteer and can attend the meeting please join us - I promise the meeting won't last longer than an hour.

If you cannot attend the Friday meeting at noon but you want to help please come to the church between 8 am and 9 am Saturday morning. We need folks to flip and serve pancakes, bacon and juice; greet the riders as they arrive and serve as docents for the sanctuary. Everyone who participated in last year's event had a wonderful time and I expect that will be true this Saturday. So if you can, please join us!

Walnut Hill Church - Need help with refreshments in July and August!

Dear members,

I am trying to help fill the schedule for our after church refreshments for July and August.

We have guest ministers while Mike is on sabbatical, and we certainly want to give them an opportunity to 

have hospitality with us after the service. I know that summers are busy and many people travel, but please take a 

look at the schedule below and email me if you think you can help for one of the Sundays. 

If we can have people team up, it will be easier for everyone and then you don't have to bring too many items.
