Sunday at Walnut Hill Church

This Sunday, April 25, at Walnut Hill Church...

we continue a second Sunday of Earth Day reflection.

Sunday Conversations, 10am, Trinity Hall

When did we forget that we are the land?  The Earth is our
home, our food, our shelter.  Does nature have intrinsic value
beyond human use?  We will explore these ideas by viewing
the video, Koyaanisqatsi (life out of balance), in which Bob
Randall, a Yankunytjatjara elder from Ayers Rock in Australia,
speaks about the traditional Aboriginal view that "the land
owns us."

Morning Worship, 11am, Sanctuary

Sermon: Consider the Birds of the Air
Text: Matthew 6:25-34

Nursery care and Sunday School for children.

Youth Discussion, 11am, Trinity Hall

Youth are invited to gather for conversation around the "Nooma"
video series.

Refreshments and Fellowship, Noon, Trinity Hall

All are invited to gather after worship for refreshments and
fellowship.

Blessing of the Garden, after worship, at the Garden

All are invited to gather shortly after worship for a brief blessing
of the Walnut Hill Church Garden.
